Star Gold to trace Akshay Kumar's Bollywood journey
Mumbai: Beginning 8 September, STAR Gold will present Chandni Chowk to Bollywood – a Journey of a Superstar, a seven week long festival of best of blockbuster movies of Akshay Kumar that will culminate with a mega event in October. That's not all! The viewers will also get to know the trivia on the illustrious journey of Kumar aka Akki in Khiladinama during the breaks of the movies. The journey of this khiladi has been a la Bollywood movie script where the dreams triumph over reality and the aspirations move the strongest of the mountains. Star Gold general manager Sameer Rao said, "It gives us immense pleasure to encompass the road to success of Kumar, the undisputed superstar who has mastered all the genres of the Hindi cinema.
