Rajasthan distributor turns producer
MUMBAI: Bhagam Bhag's Rajasthan distributor Mohandan Gadhvi has turned producer with a medium budget film titled Ramsapeer.
Says Gadhvi, "Ramsapeer has been made with an investment of Rs 7.5 million (Rs 75 lakh). It is a social drama, directed by Amitabh Raina. New finds Raj Varma and Rupali Suri play the leads."
Ramsapeer, according to Gadhvi, has been shot in Mumbai and Rajasthan and is currently in the post-production stages. "After this, I am starting Khwaja, which will be directed by Sudhir Nayar," claims Gadhvi.
Gadhvi says he plans to continue distributing films in Rajasthan. "After Bhagam Bhag, I am releasing Mahendra Dhariwal's Nehlle Pe Dehlla on 2 March 2007 for distributor Jagdev Singh Khalsa. We are releasing 15 prints and 17 UFOs in Rajasthan. Entertainment Paradise and Golcha cinemas in Jaipur and Nasrani in Jodhpur are the main centres," he adds.
