Genelia D'Souza shoots for Telegu film in Australia
MUMBAI: Perky actress Genelia D'Souza is enjoying her moment under the sun. The Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na actress is currently in Australia shooting for a Telegu film.
With Bollywood offers not upto the mark and Telegu films giving her ample scope to experiment with characters, D'Souza has completed her Telegu film, Katha and has started work on her next. A day before her departure, D'Souza said, "This film, which is still to decide on its title has a lot to offer. And I really don't have a chip on my shoulder doing regional films. The role was good and so I accepted it. Hindi films are still my top priority, but until I get something good, I am in no hurry to do them. It's not a good feeling to have failed films under your belt."
D'Souza, however, is right where the spotlight is… doing endorsements. Talking about her advertising deals, she said, "All my ads are fun. I especially liked the latest Fanta commercial. I had a 60s look and the fun element was high in the ad." D'Souza also recently signed up for Garnier's fairness cream and Virgin mobile.
While rumors of her link up with good friend Riteish Deshmukh continue to do the rounds, D'Souza shrugs them off and says, "I can’t scream from the rooftops everytime this rumor springs up. I am here to act and that's what I am doing."
