Goldie Behl to direct Pratiek Babbar in Copycat

Mumbai: Director-producer Goldie Behl is all set to direct a film titled Copycat for which he is in talks with Pratiek Babbar.

Copycat  is a gritty realistic romantic thriller set on the streets of Mumbai. While Behl is in talks with Babbar for the male lead, he is yet to decide on the female lead.

Speaking about Babbar, Behl says, "There's something special about that boy, besides the fact that he looks so much like his mother.He suits the role perfectly.”

Copycat will be the second film that Behl will be working on this year. The first as reported earlier by Businessofcinema.com will star Abhishek Bachchan in the lead and the film will be directed by Anurag Basu.

Though there was much confusion regarding who will star in Goldie’s film it is confirmed now that Abhishek and Pratiek have both been approached for different projects.

Clearing the air says Goldie, "Abhishek was my only choice for the film with Anurag Basu.And yes for my second venture Copycat I’m in talks with Pratiek .Both Abhishek and Pratik will star in 2 different films. Please get your facts corrected."
