Divya Kumar directs Adnan Sami and Jermain Jackson

MUMBAI: In a tribute to the Mumbai Terror attacks that hit the city on 26 November, 2008, Divya Kumar has directed music composer and singer Adnan Sami with Jermaine Jackson in a video of Sami’s new album Ek Ladki Deewani Si. This album is also being looked as an Indian Tribute to Michael Jackson.

The video called Let’s go to Mumbai City is about Mumbai. “In the video I have tried to show 2 international artistes Jermaine Jackson & Adnan Sami coming to Mumbai and exploring the various facets of Mumbai. The city is always so full of life, so full of interesting people from all cultural backgrounds. Jermaine Jackson & Adnan Sami breathe the Mumbai air and as they go about meeting Mumbaikars, they become a part of them. They enjoy dancing with the street kids, they love the festive atmosphere of the city, they go berserk in the Mumbai rain but still don’t tire out as the city has generated immense passion in them, touched their hearts and hence they perform calling out to the world, Let’s go to Mumbai city…..Coz world ka dil Mumbai City,” says Kumar.

This video was shot at various places like CST Terminal and Gateway of India in Mumbai. It also takes an inspiration from Michael Jackson’s – They Really Don’t care About Us track. It has also been shot in some slum areas in Mumbai.. The song Let’s Go to Mumbai City has been choreographed by Remo D’Souza.
