Post London, Sajid Khan to shoot Housefull in Las Vegas
MUMBAI: Sajid Khan's Housefull is certainly packed with a lot of stars. The director has begun shooting his second film, which stars Akshay Kumar, Deepika Padukone, Riteish Deshmukh, Lara Dutta, Arjun Rampal, Jiah Khan, Boman Irani, Chunky Pandey and Randhir Kapoor in key roles.
Sajid tells Businessofcinema.com, "Of course it will be action packed. Almost four writers including me have been working on this film for the last two years. I have tried to ensure that the audience will remain glued to my film."
Sajid has left for London in the first week of July to start his film, which has a start to finish schedule. Giving details about his film, Sajid said, "We start shooting with Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh and Lara Dutta on 12 July in London. We have a pretty long schedule of almost 35 days in London where we will shoot across the length and breadth of the city. After that, we will shift base to Italy to shoot for 20 days in a small island called Barry."
As Sajid has planned a one schedule film, the cast and crew will then shift to Las Vegas. Sajid said, "My script demands that I shoot in Vegas. So we will be there for a week. On our return to Mumbai, we will shoot here for five days. I want to complete my shooting by mid September."
Sajid's romantic comedy is being produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. Their last film together was Heyy Babyy, which starred Akshay Kumar, Fardeen Khan, Riteish Deshmukh, Vidya Balan and Boman Irani.
