Perfetti ropes in Salman Khan for Chlormint ad campaign
MUMBAI: Perfetti India has roped in actor Salman Khan to endorse its mint brand Chlormint.
According to sources, the new television commercial of Chlormint will feature Salman Khan along with his brother Sohail Khan.
At present, Salman has fled from the humid conditions of Mumbai to shoot in the cool climes of London for Vijay Galani’s Veer. However, prior to his departure, the actor had a packed schedule, shooting the promo for his television show Dus Ka Dum and the ad campaign for Chlormint.
Salman shot for Chlormint, an endorsement that has come after a really long time. Brands had kept away from this Khan as he got caught in one accident fiasco after another. The Black Buck case followed by his car accident incident, made Salman a not-so-hot property for brands despite his massive fan following.
However, the eternal survivor, Salman has been able to come out of each and every debacle and move on in life. Speaking to Businessofcinema.com, Salman Khan confessed, “I have no delusions that I will be in Bollywood for ever. I am not a smart businessman. I think from my heart and act from my heart, which is what I am. And I am prepared for the day, when I will not get roles in films. But till I am here, I will do it my way.”
In an industry, which follows a herd mentality, one may not be surprised to see brands woo this Khan once the Chlormint ad is out, as Salman Khan is a big star and one who has not been exploited yet by the advertisers.
