Directed by Sergey Dvortsevoy, Tulpan won two awards, The Prabhat Best International Director Award and the Best International Actor (Male) for an astounding performance by Askhat Kuchinchirekov.

Screened in Indian multiplexes few months ago, Nadini Labaki was awarded The Best International Actor (Female) for Caramel. The award fiesta continued with a Special Jury Mention for Laurent Cantent directed The Class, which is also nominated for the present Oscars.

NDTV Lumiere director Sunil Doshi said, "Within the last year, NDTV Lumiere films have won more than 25 to 30 awards in India alone at various film festivals.
