Star Movies to premiere Fantastic Four: Rise of The Silver Surfer

Mumbai: Star Movies will be premiering Fantastic Four: Rise of The Silver Surfer on 4 October at 9 pm.

Tim Story's sequel to the 2005 film Fantastic Four, stars Ioan Gruffudd, Jessica Alba and Chris Evans.

The Fantastic Four face their greatest challenge yet again. The havoc wreaked by the strange and shiny visitor catches the attention of four. The battle is on to save the planet from certain annihilation. Meanwhile the nefarious Dr. Doom begins concocting a plan with the potential to overshadow even the Silver Surfer's destructive antics.

Jessica Alba said, "The challenge was to make the movie better than the original. In the first one, everyone was still trying to figure out the tone but this is one of the few comic-book movies that is really tongue in cheek, lighthearted and family-oriented. It's not dark or heavy with characters having inner struggles about hidden identities."
